Here is a side view of the hotel room, and a hint at the beauty of the flora and fauna. The rooms are all in a row, ranch style, looking out at the lake, and each one has a little sitting area out front. Ours had a gigantic hammock. This building actually used to be the vacation home for a family from Guatemala City, and has now been refurbished. There were lots of little nooks around the property with an overhang and some chairs or a hammock. If anyone wants a beautiful vacation, we can recommend some amazing hotels around the lake, and interesting day trips to the surrounding villages.
