I sat down with this little boy to read a book, and realized he couldn't see the words. He didn't want to go ask for glasses from Gladys, so I asked him if he wanted to go together. Larisa, Abel's daughter, translated for him, and he was the proud recipient of glasses.
At the end of the day, he was still sitting and reading a book, new glasses on his face, as we left to walk down the mountain.

I am thrilled to be watching all the pictures of the medical team. Message for Gladys ... Make sure that little boy with the new glasses.... Take the blue sticker off...he might keep it on for a long time...I am so proud..
