After being the guests at a lunch in Tierra Linda, we then returned home to host dinner for our Canadian Conexions group, as well as some Guatemalan friends. Abel and his family joined us, as well as Candelaria (our Spanish teacher) and her family. It was great fun to have everyone meet in person. Two other people from the Conexions group have taken lessons over Skype video chat with Candelaria, and were very excited to finally meet her in person.
And again, we're very grateful for Rosa, who whipped up an amazing tipico dinner for 25 people - tacos, tostadas, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa, black beans, and more.
