Like all kitchens full of fresh, ripe fruit, we are battling fruit flies. It's not a big deal at home -- just put out the dish with apple cider vinegar and dish soap, and they fall for it every time. But not so easy here. We've tried a couple times, but apparently Dave bought "artificial" vinegar by accident the first time. Have you ever heard of "artificial" vinegar? Hmmm.... one of the many funny things to figure out here. We finally found red wine vinegar and it's working! Hurray!
