We started the morning with a cup of fresh-brewed Huehuetenango coffee from Mike's, in our new coffeemaker from the Guatemalan Wal-Mart "Hiper Paiz". You might be surprised, but it's really hard to find a coffeemaker here. You'll see fresh pineapple on the counter too. Mom and Dad brought a $10 toaster with them. Since Guatemalans don't really eat toast, it's hard to find those too. Danaya and Mom are now toasting tortillas in the oven to make chips.
