Rebar to the Rescue

The white box is a directional antenna for the internet modem, and we're on the roof above our class in Tierra Linda. If I hold the box high or move it around, it doesn't help...but if I wedge it into the rebar in the right direction, the rebar acts as secondary antennas, and the signal is stronger.

We learned this in eleventh grade when we made clothes-hanger antennas to watch the 1991 Canada Cup during class.
