Timidly Proud

These boys were so delighted with themselves after doing this puzzle.

For those of you coming to Guatemala, or donating other puzzles, I have discovered some helpful tips. Puzzles with a board in behind like this one are the easiest to keep track of, and the kids can see the picture before they do it. Also, wooden puzzles are MUCH better than cardboard ones. The wear and tear on these things is incredible. This is a perfect example of a great puzzle to donate for elementary kids -- not too hard or too easy. These kids have never done puzzles before, so the difficulty level needs to stay in the medium to easy range. Puzzles for preschools need to be very, very simple and definitely wooden.
