My (Dave's) sister Melanie gave birth to a healthy, happy baby girl last night at 7:02 PM our time. Her name is Andrea Faith Visscher. We've had numerous calls, emails, photos, and emotions. We feel very close and very far at the same time, since those are moments we love to share in person. Welcome to the world, Andrea!
Andrea will have all the opportunities in the world, because she was born in Canada. It's hard to think about how many kids born yesterday in Guatemala simply won't have opportunities. We hope that Andrea will spend a lifetime passing on her blessings.
