Danaya bought us a hammock chair and a hammock at the market, and we just haven't gotten around to hanging it up, with the busy-ness. So early this morning, we hung these up in the trees, using our rope from the dollar store here.
The funny little footrest is a thing we learned here - it sure makes it comfy.
We're excited - our friend Alex from home arrived safely in Guatemala City tonight. He'll get here tomorrow afternoon on the shuttle.
In other news, Guatemala doesn't observe daylight savings time, so we are only 1 hour ahead of Abbotsford now. Apparently daylight savings time would make it darker here in the early morning, and the government decided that more people would get robbed, so they canned it.
