We have discovered that mathematics flashcards are a huge hit (because it's a game). There is a dollar store that sells them here, and we cleaned them out the other day. A donation from Yvonne, a retired teacher in Abbotsford, bought a stack of 25 sets of flashcards. Thanks Yvonne! You should see the fifth-graders compete with these. You should also see how well Alex learned his numbers today.
For those of you coming on the April trip, practice your Spanish numbers, because we can use more people to lead these games.
