We explored a number of sites today, such as Wikipedia, Fifa.com, the local newspaper Prensa Libre, and our Handup site. One of their favourites was the Guatemala Conexions site, which shows pictures of our previous trips. Estulio's son Rene hollered out "es Stan!" when he saw a photo of Stan and Ron carrying a mattress.
They love the Google Maps view of Tierra Linda too, which you can see on the Handup site if you like.
We showed them how email works for the first time, emailing back and forth between a Hotmail and a Gmail on two computers.
Some of you who grew up before computers arrived can probably identify with out students...the internet is just a bit overwhelming for them right now. The concept of it is difficult enough, but trying to figure out what to do on it is a real challenge.
One of the boys looked up the Passion movie today, which was interesting.
