By sheer coincidence, today was the first day of the new year, according to the ancient Mayan calendar. We arrived here about noon, and the Guatemalan president had been here in the morning. He had been at Casa Santo Domingo while we were there yesterday too. We gave him greetings from Abbotsford. No, we didn't.
