Danaya and Zane were in the shower last night when our gardener/guardian, Don Miguel, knocked at the door, saying something about "fire". He pointed me to our hot water heater, which had a 2-foot flame blazing from the top. We turned it off quickly, and called the housebuilder, Arturo. Arturo said it was normal when it's windy, and just to turn it off for tonight. Go figure. And if you've ever wondered what Canada does with all its completely worn-out propane tanks, well, they are reincarnated in Guatemala.

Wahhhaaa! Our yellow school buses are reincarnated to live another life in Guatemala too. So you don't have a "widow maker" heater for your shower then?
